While some groups may focus on support, others may be purely for social and dating.  Local groups are just another way to meet people in your area and are a great asset to the community!  Each group is different so please visit their website for more details.  See the Local Groups page to learn more or Join HWerks and start meeting people today!

POCAtlanta People of Color Atlanta

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/POCAtlanta/

From their Website:

We are a social group based in the Atlanta area for those who have HSV-I, HSV-II or HPV. People of Color Atlanta does not discriminate based on race or any other factor but you must be living with HSV I or II or HPV to be a member. Discretion is a MUST and mutual respect expected. These terms are non-negotiable. We are a member focused group, meaning the members help to shape the group. The more you are involved, the more you get out of it. We provide monthly social events for people whose lives have been affected by herpes. This group is NOT exclusive to people of color and that is evident by it’s membership. We have been growing friendships for 8 years and would value yours.
