National Herpes Events- HPV Events

National Events are held throughout the country and Canada! 100′s of people fly from all over to attend. These events are a great way to get out, have fun and meet others in the same boat! They are also a great way to meet other HWerks members!  Yes, everybody there will have herpes and or HPV!

Typically, a National Event is 3 days (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) at a hotel and has an event fee that includes some food, snacks, beverages…etc. These events are not run by HWerks but rather by a dedicated team of volunteers.

The hotel does NOT know what the group is about for the privacy of the group. It is also expected to stay that way. They just see us a fun group of people there to have fun for the weekend.

As soon as the event websites are available, they will be posted here. Each event is different so please visit the event website for more details. Be sure to book your room early as room blocks can sell out quickly

Note: These are just the National Events.  Many more smaller gatherings are organized by the local groups for people in their area throughout the country.  These events are posted within the individual groups and many are posted inside of HWerks.  Have a question? Indy, St. Pete, Austin… there are so many cities hosting great national H events!  Seems like everyone’s hosting them… except L.A.!  What’s up with that?

Well, we hope to remedy that situation with”H Is For Hollywood,” Southern California’s first national H event in over a decade!

Our event starts casually on Thursday with people arriving from all over for “early bird” registration, an informal meet & greet, and a beach area pub crawl.  Friday’s schedule includes hiking, a bus tour of Hollywood, and dinner.  Saturday’s activities include a morning meet & greet, a group lunch, and a huge dinner dance and costume party with door prizes!  We’ll wrap everything up Sunday with breakfast and bowling!  Other activities will be scheduled as we get closer to the event date (all activities subject to change).

Friends Over Texas 2012 in San Antonio, Texas – May 17th-20th, 2012

OK Friends…the website is updated with the hotel information, tentative weekend schedule, event fee and the guest book is up and running!

Indylicious – Indianapolis, IN National Event July 13th -15th 2012

Indylicious, the Indianapolis National Event, is affectionately referred to as just “Indy” in our community.  This is  probably the longest running HSV and HPV event!  The huge advantage of Indy is it’s location as it is so accessible, by car, for so many.  People from Michigan to Florida and everywhere in between drive in.  Of course, others choose to fly in as well.  For many people, this was their first event  and responsible for getting them hooked and wanting to attend more events!

The Indy site is not up just yet so save the date!  We’ll post it here when it is ready.

Friends on the Beach – St. Pete Beach, FL National Event November 8th-11 2012

The name says it all! The St. Pete event is held at a hotel right on the beach! This end of the year event is a favorite for many that want to escape the cold! Sun, sand, pool, volleyball and the ocean…what more could you ask for!

  14TH Annual Lake Tahoe Ski Trip- February 16th-20th 2012

Please join Southern California Friends, Bay Area Friends, Northern Nevada Friends, Sacramento Friends and the H Meetup/Social/Facebook Groups for the 14th annual Lake Tahoe ski trip. Besides the beautiful scenery and excellent skiing, it’s a great way to have fun and make some new friends! Lake Tahoe is the most beautiful Alpine Lake in the world. Lake Tahoe borders California and Nevada and is located just 200 miles east of San Francisco and only 45 miles southwest of the Reno-Tahoe International Airport.

We have booked a gorgeous 7 bedroom 5 bath 7,400 square foot Lakefront luxury estate vacation home for the annual Lake Tahoe Ski trip.  The home is located in the prestigious Tahoe Keys and has a pool table room, 2 living/entertainment rooms with large screen TV, huge kitchen, indoor koi pond, panoramic lake views and rooftop jacuzzi overlooking the lake and mountains.

GROUP ACTIVITIES

Skiing, snowmobiling, sightseeing, watching movies, playing pool, relaxing in the hot tub,  going to the nearby casinos for drinks, gambling and dancing, Saturday night dinner party, etc.

SATURDAY NIGHT DINNER PARTY

We have a big dinner party planned for Saturday night. Appetizers, soft drinks, full course barbeque, etc. dinner and dessert will be provided. Please BYOB. The party is alot of fun, with music, dancing, plenty of entertainment and of course the hot tub for all to enjoy!

ACCOMMODATIONS:

Private bedrooms, shared bedrooms and common area space are available. Cost for meals is only $35 for all guests staying at the house or $15 in advance or $20 at the door for the Saturday night dinner party only.

VANCOUVER, BC INTER/NATIONAL EVENT – AUGUST 14th-17th 2011 – See you in 2012!

The most fantastic four days of the summer 2011 are happening in Vancouver, BC! From August 18th – 21st, the Vancouver H Friends Group will host their second National Event! There will be people from all over Canada, the United States and hopefully from beyond. Lots of fun activities are planned that will appeal to all interests, hiking, biking, SUP boarding/kayaking, a chocolate tour, city, park and beach tours… a super fun Sports Pub night where you can show off your favourite team’s jersey… a fantastic dinner at an amazing two-level London-style nightclub…and lots of dancing!!
